Growing In Faith Together

Our Sunday school program is called G.I.F.T. and here at Blessed Trinity, it is thriving! If you are anywhere on the grounds on a Sunday morning, after the 9 o’clock mass, you can’t help but notice the flurry of activity.

This year there is a total of 250 students from k-4 on up through 8th grade registered in these classes. As in the name of the program, we are growing in faith together. At the same time the children are in their classes, adults are invited to a Scripture study class. You need not be a parent of a G.I.F.T. child to attend.

After the English speaking children leave, at 11 o’clock the bilingual students arrive for their class. Also, there are bilingual classes at our mission, Guadalupana, on Tues. nights, for students preparing to make First Communion and Confirmation.

There is even a class for children that wish to become Catholic. Children of catechetical age (over 8 years old); come learn about the Catholic faith. At Easter Vigil Mass, they receive the sacraments of initiation (Baptism, First Communion and Confirmation)

We are so blessed to have forty-three dedicated catechists who give so unselfishly of their time and talents. Week after week these wonderful volunteers come and pass on the faith to these precious children.
For further information please call Ro Lipari, director of Religious Education, at 629-8092.

 Registration for Classes

Classes are held on Sunday morning.  You can register at any time at the church office.  If your child is receiving a sacrament, for the first time, you must attach a copy of their baptisiaml certifacate with the registration form.
