Comprehensive Youth Ministry
In obedience to the document “Renewing the Vision: A Framework for Catholic Youth Ministry” by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.
The LIFE TEEN Program encourages teens to embark on a journey of faith in a relationship with God through Jesus Christ and His Church. At a weekly 5:00pm LIFE TEEN Family Mass, high school teens and their families experience the depths of God's love through the Word, the teen community, and the Eucharist. Following the Mass, trained youth ministers and core members lead the teens deeper into their Catholic faith in the LIFE Night experience, which includes nights that are educational, spiritual, social, and issue oriented. Teens grow as a faith community, growing in understanding of what it means to be young and Catholic in the world today. LIFE TEEN runs throughout the entire year with many nights, retreats and conferences for teenagers and their families.

A Look Ahead.....
- ADORE ADVENT NIGHT OF WORSHIP: Mark your calendars now for Friday, December 9th--we are very excited about this upcoming event! Come out and join us for a night full of fun, inspiration, music, and, most of all, worship as we welcome the Adore Ministries team here to Ocala. The night will include performances by the very talented Sarah Kroger, and the equally as talented Josh Blakesley band, a talk by the incredible Paul George, and at the heart of the night, Adoration that is sure to move you and fill you with the Holy Spirit. These speakers and musicians have presented/led worship across the country and internationally at conferences, events, etc.—including Steubenville Youth Conferences, national Life Teen events, and even World Youth Day. This night is open to all ages, so invite the whole family for the opportunity to truly feel the love of God. Come on and start your Advent off right! We hope to see you there! **We are seeking sponsorships for this special occasion, and would greatly appreciate donations in order to make this event very affordable, at the cost of $5/person, for the evening. If you’d like to make a donation, checks can be made out to Blessed Trinity, and mailed or dropped off to the church office with Julie’s name on the envelope. Thank you very much, in advance, for your generosity!
- ALL HALLOWS EVE FESTIVAL: Life Teen will be volunteering on Saturday, October 29th, in the BT gym. The festival runs from 1:00-3:00pm, but we need help with setting up at 12:00pm. We helped out last year and had a fun time with the kids! Life Teen volunteers will help with the various games, crafts, and activities. This is a great way to earn some service hours! Life Teen will also man the concession table. Please email Julie if you are interested.
- BONFIRE: Life Teen’s annual All Saints Day bonfire is coming up! Plan to join us after Life Teen Mass, Sunday, October 30th. Immediately following Mass, we will load the buses and head out to Julie’s parents’ house. Make sure to get your homework done ahead of time, as we will return to BT later than the normal ending time—around 9:15pm. Please bring a camping chair and roasting sticks (if you have them--for marshmallows). Invite your friends; just make sure they get a permission/medical release from Julie, in advance. Also--if you plan to be there, please shoot Julie an email, for planning purposes. Looking forward to a great time!
- Sunday, November 6th: Join us for Mass, dinner and Life Night, concluding at 8:00pm. Tonight we will talk about how through the Holy Spirit, the Church is seeking to accomplish unity. We will see how human pride and weakness have led to disunity among Christians, and will experience how to be a part of the humble solution. See you there!
- MINISTRY FAIR: the annual BT Ministry Fair will be held over the weekend of November 12-13th. We are seeking teen volunteers to be present at our Life Teen booth, throughout the weekend, following each Mass. If you would like to sign up for a shift(s), please email Julie with the Mass time(s) in which you would like to volunteer. Thank you!
- Sunday, November 13th: Join us for Mass, dinner and Life Night, concluding at 8:00pm. Tonight, we will visit the Ministry Fair in the Parish Hall, and also visit Publix for our annual shopping trip to help Brother's Keeper stock up for Thanksgiving!
- Sunday, November 20th: Join us for Mass, and then the Blessed Trinity Stewardship Appreciation Movie Night. Life Teen will be selling popcorn and other goodies at the event. It will be a fun evening--see you there!
- Sunday, November 27th: Please join us for Mass, but no Life Night, due to the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
- PARENTS: We are the primary catechists of our teens, and it is so important that we be intentional about including them on the journey. Life Teen wants to help make your job easier. Are you interested in receiving short descriptions on the Life Night and discussion questions to help spark some dialoguing with your teen? If so, please email Julie, and ask to be added to the “Parental Notice list.” You will then receive a weekly email after each Life Night.
