Annual Stewardship Renewal

Stewardship Renewal

November 2009

Each year Blessed Trinity Parish recommits to the Stewardship Way of Life.  The month of November is dedicated to this, with many events aimed at educating and rejuvenating our parish members to what our mission as a stewardship family is all about. Stewardship is discipleship and together we help each other recommit to the giving of our time, talent and treasure back to God, the giver of all things.

This year's theme is Living Our Baptismal Call: Stewardship.

Baptism is celebrating in the Christian assembly, with the community present and actively participating. It is the beginning of a lifelong commitment of placing our gifts and resources at God's service in and through the Church.

Our Renewal activities include:

  • Witnesses to the Stewardship Way of Life - Members of our parish family speak during Mass on the first two Sundays of the month.

  • Ministries Booklet for 2010 - The new booklet of ministries is mailed out. This consists of a listing of all our ministries with contact names and numbers.

  •    Ministry Fair - On November 14th&15th each ministry
  •     has a table on display in the parish hall with information
  •     and a member attending, to answer any questions.

  • Children's Stewardship Mass - On the Friday before the

         Commitment weekend, November 20th at

8:30, there is a School Stewardship Mass, highlighting stewardship

efforts our BT school students are making, to grow in the

stewardship way of life. Students offer their stewardship

         commitment brochures at this Mass.

  • Parish Stewardship Video - During all the Masses on November 14th & 15th the annual parish video will be shown, highlighting our efforts to serve as a stewardship parish, throughout the year.

  • Steward's Dinner (formerly the Volunteer dinner) - On November 22nd at 6:00 p.m. all active members of the parish are invited to a meal together in thanksgiving for their continual contributions of time, talent and treasure.

  • Commitment Weekend - The culminating event is the Mass at which we at Blessed Trinity, putting God first in our lives, place our pledges of time talent and treasure at the altar. (Forms are mailed home earlier, as well as handed out at Mass).
